Away With the faeries
When Kev's mental health started declining from the summer of 2025, he lost interest in a lot of his little joys in life. His writing and photography suffered. He was struggling in his job, and having difficulties in dealing with social situations.
Meanwhile Crawley Town in the 2025-26 season had their worst ever league season. So, of course, Kev latched on to Crawley Town as a crutch in life and vowed to see all forty-six of their league games, and to get to twenty-five of their away games. And so it was that he was Away With The Faeries.
Football was the one thing that kept him writing all year.

Where the lights shine brightest
The man has recurring dreams of blinding lights and experimentation on him, and somehow the way he looks never changes, no matter what he tries.
There is a woman from those dreams who he almost meets all over the world, she is always leaving as he arrives, and he never gets to speak to her.
Then he meets the sister of his dead fiancée on the Tube, and he starts to fall for her.
But now his flight, which has both women on it has been hijacked and he’s in trouble with the hijackers. What is behind the hijacking? Is it all connected somehow? Will he manage to shake his dreams off and deal with the women? Will the blinding lights be explained?

five go mad in manchester
Autobiographical novel of my time in Manchester in the early 2000s, especially the twenty one months in a shared house with four other blokes. A no holds barred account of drunken lunacy and lads being lads.
Starting from the time I moved to Manchester in late 2001, this runs to April 2004 when they were evicted from the shared house and went their own ways. It covers how the five of them met and came to be living together.
