My story of Crawley Town’s nigh on catastrophic 2025-26 season as they avoided relegation on the final day of the season by the skin of their teeth, and the fingernails of their fans. How following them all around the country helped me as I battled mental health issues and gave me focus when everything else was getting blurry. And how it helped me fall fully back in love with football in the way I had been as a child. To become obsessive about it again.

Mainly drawn from the match reports which made up the only writing I was doing for most of the nine months of the season, it has added content as I deal with my issues and foibles as the season unfolds.
